The Soundscape’ incorporates imagery from the life of a friend who is a gallerist and musician. Fragments from her home have been collaged together, interspersed with painted sections, and she can be spotted, half-hidden inside an open box. A modern take on the artist’s muse, ‘The Soundscape’ celebrates the success of a creative mind, praising the strength and ambition of women in the twenty-first century.
